Residential
FR-A earliest work comprised of a series of high-end residential interiors and single family villas, mostly in the Italian countryside. More recently FR-A engaged in a number of larger mixed-use and sustainable housing while keep growing the portfolio of private houses, villas and apartments for individuals in Italy and the UK.
Retail & Lifestyle
The practice has broad retail & lifestyle experience ranging from department stores to fashion and restaurants to hospitality. We understand how to translate brands into space and to enhance the identity of places. At the centre of our methodology is an intense interaction with clients and the ability to deliver creative and commercially feasible solutions.
Workplace
Our approach to workplace design is grounded on the values of wellbeing, efficiency and sustainability. FR-A has worked on both new office and production buildings and on the internal refitting of existing. Currently, the practice is actively engaged in academic research and international competitions as a mean to explore innovative solutions for workplace of the future.
Products
Previously to FR-A, Enrico Franzolini has collaborated over the years with many of the most prestigious manufacturers in the furniture industry such as Alias, Cappellini, Foscarini, Knoll International, Moroso. FR-A picks up on this experience to make it integral part of the design culture and quality in the making of current architectural and industrial design projects.
